Evaluating Promoters
It is not the policy of NAAC to slander or defame any promoter of arts and crafts shows, events, promotions etc.  However, it is the aim to address the policies of promoters, how they market themselves to artists and crafters, and what are their ethics towards the philosophies of this organization.

Over the last few years due to the economic situation, the abundance of arts and crafts promoters, and the strong penetration into the industry of buy/sell "artists and crafters", the livelihood of authentic artists and crafters are at jeopardy.  Artisans cannot compete against the imported products from overseas and the cheap reproductions sold at shows and events, by the buy/sell vendors  and commercial businesses who pose as arts or crafts.  These products do not represent the true quality of handcrafted work in all types of mediums.

Our objective is to find ways to work with promoters who will support the promotion of authentic arts and crafts and uphold a strong ethic.  In that end we will through our membership evaluate each promoter, each show in as many locations as possible, and support those promoters who support our aims and objectives.
How We Evaluate Promoters
We will evaluate promoter using an extensive survey of the promoters; support for the artists and crafters, marketing of shows and events, adhearance to standards and ethics, accuracy of information provided by promoters relating to attendance, and other issues, numbers of catagories and participants in each catagory.

At the completion of each calender year NAAC will publicize its results to the arts and crafts community and any other industry media that requests such information.
Evaluation Scoring System
NAAC will utilize a five level scoring system for these evaluations.  They will be representative as a "star" system ranging from one star to five stars.  Obviously the higher the number of stars the more the promoter meets the criteria of NAAC. As the organization formalizes itself over the next few months there may be additions and modifications to these five star levels.
