Any organization needs members to be successful and accomplish the aims and objectives of the organization. NAAC is no different. Several of the founding members have donated funds, most more than they can spare at this economic time to help start this organization. Therefore we need such resources to make NAAC a reality. However, NAAC as a special offer until further notice will charge NO MEMBERSHIP FEE. Our aim is to inform and build a coalition of artists and crafters to save and protect our arts.
Membership is simple. There are two types of memberships available. They are : 1. Artisan Membership and 2. Associate Membership which includes promoters and other groups, associations, individuals that support the aims and objectives of NAAC. A small membership fee will be enacted for a second year.

Artisan Membership, requires that you are an artisan and validate that your work is handcrafted and not mass produced. You have the ability to prove either via affidavits or other means that you produce your art or craft and may be assisted by another individual or apprentice. However you do not mass produce your product for large retail sales. In addition you do not purchase product from outside sources and resell it as yourown. No more than approximately 15% of a product may be purchased as "premanufactured" for your art or craft. For example, a jeweler may purchase pre cut semi-precious stones for a ring but handcrafts the silver or gold body of the ring himself; or an artist may paint his own work but purchase or order a custom framing of his work. An Artisan Member supports the aims and objectives of NAAC.
Associate Membership, is reserved for promoters, other artisans, media types and others who meet the criteria of the Artisan Membership but who do not want to partake as an Artisan Member, or an organization that wishes to support the aims of NAAC. An associate member will receive discounts on merchandise but may not participate as an artisan or vendor at any show or event sponsored by NAAC.
